Around 100 semi-trucks decorated with lights, inflatables, and holiday displays gathered at our WMI Trucks facility this past Saturday to kick off the third annual Red Arrow Convoy, transforming Red Arrow Highway into a moving Christmas spectacle as they made their way from Oshtemo to Coloma. Hundreds of spectators lined the route to watch the festive procession, which has grown from a simple idea among friends into a cherished community tradition. Drivers spend days adorning their rigs, while organizers plan the event months in advance to coordinate permits and secure the route through multiple cities and counties. For many truckers who sacrifice time away from their families during the holidays, the convoy offers a special opportunity to connect with the community and celebrate together.
We’re proud that West Michigan International serves as the starting point for this two-hour parade that not only spreads holiday spirit but also showcases the heart behind the hardworking truckers who keep our communities running year-round.
